The Area 4 Final of the Rotary Young Musician Competition was held yesterday evening at Islwyn High School, Blackwood.
The winners of our Club Competition, Miley Goss (Vocalist) and Daniel Wright (Instrumentalist), both from Ysgol Garth Olwg, put on excellent performances.
We are pleased to announce, that Miley was the outright winner of the Area 4 Vocalist Competition and will now go on to the District Final, which will be held on Saturday 7th February 2026 at Margam Abbey.
Unfortunately, Daniel did not make it through to the next round, but gave a commendable performance.
Congratulations again to the both for reaching the Area Final and well done to Miley for making it through too the District Final.
