Adult Achievement Awards

Supported jointly by Kingston’s Adult Education Service and Kingston College, the Rotary Club of Kingston holds an annual awards ceremony at the Guildhall where the Mayor presents certificates to people who have fulfilled personal ambitions in further education in spite of experiencing difficulties and against all the odds.

The Head of Culture at RBK and Chief Commissioner for Children’s Services commented on the Adult Achievement Awards. “I enjoyed the awards very much. It serves as a reminder of the struggles and endeavour which people go through in their lives and of the benefits which adult education can bring. I appreciate the work that Rotary do, and it is interesting to hear of the other projects you are involved in.”
