Last week a Farnborough Team played the Rotary Club of Storrington & Pulborough in a friendly FINAL bowls match - and they won!
Teams from Rotary Clubs across our District (Surrey, Sussex and NE Hampshire) played in the competition, so a huge congratulations goes to our pair for having reached and won the Final, although it has to be said that having a national and international bowls champion like Martin on our side certainly proved to be a bonus.
Great fun, great fellowship, and another reminder that Rotary is not all about meetings - it's about friendship, fitness and some good-natured rivalry.
Well done to Martin & Tim!
