President Katy bows out in style

A fun, African-themed evening for Katy's President's event! Amazing food and good company!

We welcomed Pastor Joel Amonde from Uganda and Simon Hannington, Director of Karuna Action based in Aldershot.  Joel is the Director of the school in Lugala, Kampala, which we have supported now for several years.

Joel shared with us his heart for the children at Child Protection School (CPS) and some of the challenges he faces.  It was both heart-warming and sobering.  He enjoyed his time with us and is very grateful for our support.

Thanks go to Cove Cricket Club for allowing us to use their facilities and to all who worked behind the scenes to make it such a pleasant evening.
