The club is active in supporting many International projects :

  • The End Polio campaign with an annual contribution for the world wide eradication of the disease
  • Project RED helping school children in India with hygine issues, a joint project with Mumbai Kandivli club.
  • Freedom from Fistula : supporting women’s health in Africa and curing injuries after childbirth.
  • Disaster relief around the world, supporting Aquabox and Shelter box
  • Shoebox collections 
  • Lend with Care for financial help to people trying to start a small business.
  • Solar irrigation for crop production in Africa.
  • The construction of a refuge centre in India for teaching and rehabilitation, a joint project with the Dunbar club.

more The Kalimpong project in India is run by the Rotary club of Dunbar and phase one constructed a shelter to support victims of human trafficking. We organised a concert and raised funds for the phase two part to increase the size and scope of the building.

Vanuatu cyclone relief

more Cyclone Pam devastated the group of islands in the Pacific leaving hundreds of thousands homeless and the majority of buildings destroyed. The Eyemouth Rotary club have donated £500 to support Shelter box kits to aid the relief efforts.
