If you are aged between 18 and 30,
"Rotaract is an opportunity to......
.....be part of a fun, dynamic and unique International organisation for people aged 18-30, offering a wide range of activities that will enable you to try something new, whilst having a great time and meeting others.
Rotaract offers a wide choice of social activities, actively supports your local community, raises money for charity and gives you the opportunity to develop your personal skills and gain new life experiences in the UK and abroad.
There are about 100 clubs in Great Britain and Ireland, and more than 7,600 in 158 countires around the world. Each club organises its own social activities, which could just be a trip down the pub, ten-pin bowling, or maybe a meal, a theatre trip, or even a holiday abroad.
Rotaractors also make a difference in their local community, including raising funds for charities, and activities such as gardening, marshalling or helping the elderly.
In many of the larger districts, joint events are held with other neighbouring clubs most weekends. This can be a theme disco, a quiz night or a dinner dance. Some national Rotaract events are also organised. There are currently about 3,000 Rotaractors in Great Britain and Ireland, giving you the opportunity to meet lots of new people.
Rotaract helps you, helps others, enhances your social circle and is fun! So, find your local club and contact them for more information. If you are from a different area of the world, there is probably a club near you; our links page should help you.
The Rotaract in Great Britain and Ireland Web Site aims to unite all Rotaract Clubs in our 29 districts, providing a focal point for our members, and a place from where any of our Rotaract clubs can be located, or contacted."
There's a club near you - Hampstead, Hendon & Golders Green (HH & GG) and they are very welcoming. HH & GG Rotaract Club meets at Hyelm, 79 Fitzjohns Avenue, London NW3 6PA on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 8 pm.
