Dunbar Rotarians opened their annual charity shop on Saturday 3rd November in the town's old library building at Castellau House.
Mnay bargain hunters filled the former reading rooms and 3800 was raised on the first day.
Robin Hamilton, Dunbar Rotary Club president, said: "After many years on the High Street, we are delighted by the response to our publicity for this year's shop in its new venue.
"We particularly wish to thank all donors, East Lothian Council and of course our customers who we know eagerly anticipate this event which will continue until 3pm Saturday, 10th November."
