We repair your broken items for free – and help make a difference in your community
Repair Café Sidcup is a community project run by Sidcup Rotary Club, bringing local people together to reduce waste, share practical skills, and support our community.
Make a difference together
Every Repair Café helps people save money by repairing rather than replacing items, reduces waste going to landfill, and helps lower our environmental impact. It’s also a chance to bring people together, share skills, strengthen our local community, and enjoy the satisfaction of helping others.

Following a successful session in July, we’re pleased to welcome you back in August.
Bring along your broken or well-loved items, and our friendly volunteers will do their best to help give them a new lease of life. From small electrical items and electronics to clothing, toys, household items, and items needing minor repairs such as glueing, we aim to repair, restore, and reduce waste together. We can also help diagnose some computer problems and operating issues where possible.
It’s a welcoming space to meet others, learn something new, and enjoy a cuppa while we work.
There is no charge for repairs, although donations are welcome to help support the project.
No need to book – just drop in!

Repair Café is an international movement that began in the Netherlands, focused on repairing everyday items rather than throwing them away. It’s all about reducing waste, sharing skills, and strengthening local community connections – one repair at a time. There’s no charge for repairs, but donations are welcome to help support the project.
Do You Have a Cherished or Valued Item in Need of Repair and at a Loss Where to Take It?
Whether it’s a small electrical item, a piece of small woodwork, a treasured object in need of attention, or clothing and fabrics that could be mended, bring it along to our Repair Café. Our friendly team will work with you to see what can be saved, fixed, or restored.
Using our Repair Café team, you’ll be:
• Helping reduce landfill waste
• Promoting sustainability in Sidcup
• Meeting new people and building community spirit

Our sessions take place monthly from 2pm–5pm on the 3rd Saturday of each month (Please check the Sidcup Rotary Club website for any date changes).
