Together with Ros Ranger, Head Teacher at Balerno Community High School (pictured here), Currie Balerno Rotary are delighted to announce a new partnership to help involve pupils in community activities and to prepare them for the world of work.
The High School already has a programme of activities designed to develop awareness of and involvement in the local community and to prepare them for life after school.
Currie Balerno Rotary can make a valuable contribution to this programme through its involvement in the community and its charitable work locally, nationally and internationally; and it can offer the possibility of pupils participating in local activities. It can also arrange a valuable contribution to advice on employment from the work experience of its own members, from its associated companies who are Rotary Community Members and from other local enterprises.
