About us

WE MEET  AT BABERTON GOLF CLUB

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND ANY MEETING PLEASE CONTACT OUR SECRETARY

(Just click contact at the top of this page)

Currie Balerno Rotary has some 30 members from Currie, Balerno, Ratho, Juniper Green and beyond.
We meet every Wednesday evening at the Baberton Golf Club where we enjoy a meal, good speakers and excellent company. We also enjoy a social programme, including outside visits. We serve the local community by supporting local schools and institutions, local charities, local foodbanks and local people. We also provide help and support where it is needed across the world, especially in disaster areas.
We welcome new members, men and women, who look to make a contribution to the local community and to help people in need world-wide.

We are part of Rotary International - a service organisation of 1.2 million members who want to improve the lives of people throughout the world by working to eradicate polio (we're almost there), promote world peace, alleviate hunger and reduce poverty and child mortality.
As Rotary is the only voluntary organisation with a seat at the United Nations and a truly apolitical and non-religious approach to all that we do, we can talk to the world's governments and be trusted, respected.

"One thing is for certain. The world would not be where it is without Rotary, and it won't get where it needs to go without Rotary." Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, January 2009
