Community Members

COMMUNITY MEMBERS

Community Members are local businesses or organisations looking to support their local community.

Currie Balerno Rotary has always seen supporting local charities, local institutions, local people and the local environment as a priority and in providing that support, it has established working partnerships with other local organisations.

In 2024 this local collaboration within the community was extended to embrace local businesses and organisations wanting to join Rotary in making their contribution, leading to the setting up of a Community Member initiative.

The first Rotary Community Members to join with Currie Balerno Rotary were Lindsay & Gilmour, with pharmacies in Balerno, Currie and Juniper Green, and Currie-based Circle Security.
