George English - 400th anniversary of the Mayflower

Our speaker this week was George English from the Rotary Club of Kilmarnock. This is the 400th Anniversary of the voyage of the Mayflower in 1620 and George gave us a very informative and illustrated talk on the background to the voyage, the hardships the pilgrims faced during the voyage and what happened to the pilgrims on their arrival in America.
