Meeting on Zoom

Tonight was a planned Club focus event on the effect of the Pandemic on our activities and our future.

The meeting was be led by Roy Stirrat ,and his Club Development & Promotion Group, who after their introduction and a general discussion, attending members were allocated to one of 4 break out rooms, with Roy’s group members acting as facilitators.

Members in each break out room were permitted to have a 30 minute discussion, essentially on the experience of members after 6 months of Club Zoom meetings, and what they thought might be the future format and activities of the Club. In view of the ongoing Pandemic, it was suggested that limiting the future forecast to spring/summer 2021, initially, would be the most productive.

They were targeted to reaching agreement and reporting on  2 strategic recommendations for Club consideration. Each room facilitator reported to the reassembled meeting on their conclusions.

Roy and his group would take these outcomes and distil them into a future report for consideration by members.
