John Englebretson

In memory of John Englebretson, a stalwart Rotarian,  family and friends came together to donate to a cause close to his heart.  For over 20 years Hythe Rotary has executed projects raising funds for villages in The Gambia.  John was a prolific worker on these projects and accompanied by his wife, Jackie, made a significant contribution, as well as visits to the country.  There he made many friends and is remembered with great affection.  

Gumbo Touray from The Gambia visited Hythe Rotary and explained the legacy of John and also accpeted a cheque in John's memory.  Pictured here are John Gabris (President), Jackie Englebretson and Gumbo Touray at the cheque presentation.
