A visit to the Titsey Place

Our first social event of the calendar is a visit to Titsey Place on Saturday 2^nd of August.

They operate on a first come basis so tickets cannot be booked in advance. They do however take group bookings with a guided tour starting at 3.30pm. The tour last no longer than an hour.

I suggest we have lunch at the Tea room at about 1.00pm and then see the gardens followed by the tour.
The cost is £10.00/head. They do allow us to book the Tea room in advance for groups.

Alternatively, we could get there earlier and walk a woodland trail first then as above.

Please let me have your thoughts. I will probably need to book this in the first week of July.

Directions

Travelling along the A25 between Oxted and Westerham, turn into Limpsfield High Street.

At the bottom of the High Street where the main road turns sharply to the right, take the left hand turn into Bluehouse Lane (look for the small, brown historic house sign). Coaches be careful not to miss this turning as there are limited opportunities to turn around beyond this point.

Then after about 250 yards take the first right into Water Lane.

Pass under the M25 and turn right at Pitchfont Lodge and follow the signs to the Car Park by the Walled Garden.

Enter RH8 0SA into your Sat Nav. This will take you to Pitchfont Lodge at the Western entrance to Titsey Park. From Pitchfont Lodge follow the signs directing you through the Park along the main driveway to Titsey Place and Gardens.
