Who are we?

Bexley Game Changers is a newly formed Rotary club who will work closely with the existing Bexley Rotary Club.

What do we do?

We meet twice a month to discuss the projects we are working on, socialise and identify anything else we might want to get involved in.

We work on projects together to both help and raise money for the local community.  As part of a large international organisation, we do sometimes work on international projects.

We are led by the interests of our members, so if you have a passion for a particular organisation or cause, then come join us and help us to make a difference.

Why two clubs?

Different clubs can work in different ways.  The Club of Bexley has been successfully providing service to the local community for almost 100 years.  However, in recent years, new ways for clubs to organise themselves have been very successful and the Game Changers look to model themselves on those clubs.  We believe that our work will complement the work of the Club of Bexley and working together we can have an even greater impact.

How much time do I need to give?

The Bexley Game Changers club only meets twice a month, and these meetings are on different days to allow as many people to be involved as possible.  We do expect members to be involved in projects as well, but this can be flexible to suit the time people have available and the interest they have in a particular projects.

Cost?

The Game Changers club aims to keep the cost of being a Rotarian as low as possible.  We try to meet at venues which are free, and attendance does not involve any dining or any speakers.  This is one of the key differences between the two clubs.

The only costs involved are those that we have to pay to the district and national organisations as our contributions to their running costs.  At £120 for the year, this is very good value for access to the Rotary name and the support that they provide to us.
