Community Committee
Ashford Rotary Club has the local community firmly in mind when organising events and fundraising activities.
This year the newly formed Community Committee has two objectives - to respond to requests for donations and support from organisations and individuals, to organise or attend events that raise awareness of the Club while benefitting the community.
We will continue to assist the Hospice with their activities as well as events traditionally organised by Rotary such as a summer barbecue and Christmas party for underprivileged children, and entertainment for the elderly in the borough.
This year we also hope to take part in some of the fetes and fun days in the area to increase awareness of who we are and what we do for the local community.
