Visit and talk by the new Rotary District Governor - Carol Vizzard
Carol gave a short history of how she came to accept the role.
Two and a half years ago she was approached by Ray Dixon with a view to becoming DG. Initially she said no but after three requests finally accepted.
Carol would like to see Rotary becoming more informal and friendly with younger members. she is supporting two charities this year, Young Lives Foundation and Safe Anaesthesia.

On Monday 10th January, following a frugal supper, PP Kitty Brook, her granddaughter, Kristina, and Kristina's partner, Akeem, gave a talk on 'Malcolm's Soup Kitchen'.

On Sunday 26th June we ran a Charity Cream Tea Party for around 100 people in aid of President Liz's chosen Charities -'Canine Helpers' and 'Kent MS Therapy Centre'. Thanks to all who helped make it a memorable afternoon.
