Sandown Rotary have always tried if possible to help the youth of our area as in doing so hopefully they will grow up to be better local citizens of the future.
Over recent years Sandown have helped by sponsoring the football strips for Brading youth football teams of different age groups. With the rise in ladies playing football now it was inevitable that the young girls of the area would want to join Brading Football club and then the club would form a girls team.
When Sandown Rotary Club became aware of this, it was agreed that we should treat the girls in the same way as we had the boys, and so we sponsored a football strip for them!
