After nearly 40 years running design and packaging companies in Dorset Julian has now retired and concentrates on his main interests - art history, gardening, England cricket & rugby, Spurs and family.
He has been a magistrate, chairman of Parish Council and director of village pantomimes (I see the connection!).
During his working life he was also at various times on the boards of Bournemouth and Poole College, Wessex Environment Agency, Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Queen Elizabeth School in Wimborne. He was also a President of Bournemouth Round Table and is an active member of Bournemouth 41 Club
Now…he is a tour leader and room guide at Kingston Lacy and is busy writing a book on the extraordinary art collection and Egyptian collection and how it ended up in an Italian Palace in the middle of rural Dorset.
