Young Golfer of the Year Competition
A brief report on the activity and outcome of the Braids Club's Young Golfer of the Year 2016 competition.
The Young Golfer competition was held on 25th July at Mortonhall GC with 42 players taking part. The winner with a gross score of 72 was Bobby Gibson from Murrayfield and the runner up with a gross 77 was Stuart Thurlow.
In the Handicap section, the best net score was 82 – 11 = 71 returned by Finlay Mackenzie and the runner up with 93 – 20 = 73 was Ross Johnston from Murrayfield.
The winners of the Gross and Handicap competitions each received a £25 voucher and will be invited to the District Finals in Kirkcudbright on 17th August. The runners up each received a £10 voucher.
