George and Anne Stephens ran the 'pit stop' at Bolderwood using their mobile home and cheering on and watering and snacking those taking part.
President Philip and Fiona, both cancer survivors , did the walk. Philip siad afterwards "‘We set out to do the 10 mile walk which we achieved at a very enjoyable rate and it was good to see George and Anne at the half way point with a nice cup of tea. A great day out and we raised £645 plus gift aid.’
Steve Timms also did the walk and reported "I managed the full 20 miles in exactly 6 hours thanks to the moral support of my son Matt who offered to accompany me. It was with very sore feet that we crossed the line! We raised £485 plus Gift Aid for the charity, so it was a worthwhile exercise.
Well done everybody.
