Report by Sam: "On the 11th July, Ken Garrod (Communuity Service Chairman) and Sam Turner (the organiser), joined some of the pupils from Hounsdown School spending a day in the LifeLab laboratory at Southampton General Hospital. They took part in experiments, including with their their own DNA, Ultrasound showing their blood flow, and the effects of diet and obesity on their future life and children. This was followed by meeting the experts from the University. This is part of a ten lesson programme for sixty pupils sponsored by The New Forest Rotary Club. They were all very enthusiastic and obviously enjoying the day and gained a lot from it."
