"Our Club's Annual Classic Car Rally held on 6th May attracted 23 entrants (Rotarians and friends) ranging from ancient to modern and so were the cars!  Forecast was dire but generally dry and rain held off until coffee and lunch breaks. The oldest car was a Bentley Derby 1937 then Willys Jeep 1944 (the Gooks daughter & son-in-law)The Dinns and the Knights came with a Triumph TR2 and a Jaguar XK 140,  both 1955. Other marques included Bentley,Sunbeam,Bristol and MG.

The route from Burley weaved though the forest - Rhinefield, Fritham, Plaitford, Lockerley, coffee stop at
East Tytherley and onwards via the stunning countryside (and the odd narrow country lane!) near the
Wallops to Broughton the final stop  for lunch at The Boot Inn. President Patrick and Judy joined in what
was a fun day.  Thanks due to Bridget, Sue G, Fiona and Philip and to Mary Adcock for sorting out the clues - against the odds Tony & Pat won in a tie with the Philip and Fiona."

Although Geoff was unwell he still managed to attend and enjoyed the day - relaxing while Bridget did all the driving.

Breidget and Geoff add "and extra special thanks to John Bloomfield for all his help with the route"
