KIDS OUT AT PAULTONS PARK 2014

"On Wednesday 11th June, Rotarians Dave Smith and George Stephens were joined by Caroline Brace and Christine Smith in spending the day with 15 very excited children from Abbotswood Junior School at the annual Rotary Kids Out event at Paultons Park. The children were accompanied by Anne Stephens, Special Needs Co-ordinator, and Karen Andrew and Danielle Hyde, Learning Support Assistants at the school.
We all enjoyed a day bathed in sunshine and the children were delighted that they were able to go on rides of their choice supported by willing adults. Only the packed lunches provided by Rotary were able to slow them down!
It was lovely to hear the grateful thanks from both children and adults as they left the park at the end of the day and the recently received Thank You card shows how much they enjoyed their special day. You can see that the Rotary members and wives enjoyed themselves too!"
