Speaker meeting: Kevin Casey - 'The history of diving'

Kevin is a leading light at the Gosport Diving Museum, which is housed in a Napoleonic Battery at the western end of Stokes Bay. He is also a Gosport councillor.


Kevin is Vice Chairman of the Historical Diving Society and Director of their Diving Museum housed in No2 Battery at Stokes Bay and the fund-raising lead.

He spent 40 years as a commercial diver in the offshore oil industry working around the world and retired six years ago.

Kevin is Chairman of the Friends of Stokes Bay and a Gosport Borough Councillor for the Alverstoke Ward for the last five years. He is also a member of the South East Museums Development advisory panel and the steering committee of the Hampshire Military Museums Network.
