Burns Night

Thu, Jan 19th 2023 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We celebrate the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns with a Burns supper. Fran Noble from the Ladies Fitness First gym in Gosport will be addressing the haggis, and husband Paul providing musical entertainment.

Fran Noble is a professional and friendly Fitness Coach who owns and runs the Ladies First Fitness gym in Gosport.  Fran has worked with women of all ages, fitness levels, shapes and sizes helping them getting fitter, stronger, healthier and happier.

Fran was born in Greenock, Scotland and moved to Paisley (near Glasgow) when she was 4.  Fran attended Elderslie Primary school (of William Wallace birthplace fame) and went to Strathclyde University, graduating in BSc Hons Mathematical Sciences.

Fran’s only job offers were down South, and thus began her educating “English in the ways of the Scots” career. There are just certain words that only sound right in Scottish – well, they say the best English pronunciation is in Inverness!

Fran is married to Paul (music genius and composer) and has two kids, Isaac and Sarah, both grown-up but still crazy!

Fran loves people and social get-togethers and her Scottish heritage. This is her debut in Address to a Haggis at a Burns Supper.
