On Saturday this week Carla, Phil (Ball) and myself met with Kay Rawlins-Duquemin and some of the lovely ladies from the 'Newborn Baby Hats Appeal' (NBHA) at Creaseys Home Goods Store to hand over £250 worth of wool donated by the Rotary Club of Guernsey and to which Creasey’s also made a contribution.
Coffees were enjoyed afterwards whilst we heard more of the great efforts of NBHA.
Pictured are Kay Rawlins-Duquemin, Heather Reed, Barbara Roussel, Sally Rowe, Carolyn Stoaling & Ali Vohmann from NBHA, Christine and Ella from Creasey’s, and Carla and Chris from the Rotary Club of Guernsey.
By way of background Kay Rawlins-Duquemin gave a talk to the Club on Wednesday 11 March this year and the Club was so impressed with the work that the NBHA does that a donation of wool was considered to be very appropriate.
