PROPOSED ITINERARY
(The flight and boat times are not definitive and if participants wish to stay longer or shorter, its totally up to personal choice).
Friday 12th June Rotarians and partners arrive by air or sea (transport on arrival to hotel TBA looking at local Rotarians to assist). Noon welcome meet at La Campania pub for sandwich lunch followed by a short walk to the Alderney Museum. Or Flora and fauna enthusiasts why not take advantage of Bloomin Alderney Week and a walking tour of the beautiful private gardens of St Annes. Or take a boat trip along the beautiful coastline of Alderney and see the puffins in and the gannets and seals. 19.00 informal evening at Nelly Gray’s Indian Restaurant.
Saturday 13th June after breakfast
You will be taken on an island tour (depending on numbers of Rotarians).
Light lunch at the Old Barn followed by a trip aboard Alderney Railway to Mannez Quarry (the Channel Islands only train) where fizz will be served.
19.30 GALA DINNER AT THE BRAYE BEACH HOTEL
Sunday 14th June after breakfast
10.00 Guernsey v Alderney at PETANQUE a pitch funded and paid for by Rotary Alderney
Possible visit for lunchtime drinks at Sailing Club TBA
13.00 Quarter Deck Restaurant overlooking inner harbour
Lovely food specialising in sea food and traditional Sunday roasts (seats 30)
Late afternoon transfer of Rotarians to airport. Ferry walking distance from restaurant.
