The Rotary Guernesiais annual Christmas shoebox collection for children in Eastern Europe.


Shoebox Appeal Instructions:

Please ensure that the shoebox is 12” x 7” x 6”.

Dates:

Saturday 18 October 2025 - Saturday 25 October 2025 

Opening hours:

10am - 7pm (Sunday 19 October 10am - 1pm)

Ideas for what to include:

The basics: Soap (bar), toothpaste, flannel, toothbrush.

Warm stuff: Gloves, hat, scarf, underwear.

The fun stuff: Pens, paper, colouring pencils/crayons/felts, toys, picture books, soft toys.

Older kids: Jewellery, cards, ball, trigonometry sets, notebook, purse, comb or hairbrush, socks, solid-state deodorant.

Please do not include:

Any liquids, word-heavy books, war toys, foods or sweets.

Where to bring your shoeboxes:

Collection at Breton Construction, Bray Road Industrial state, Braye Road, Vale GY3 5XB (near Alliance). The building is located on the right-hand side when you enter Braye Road Industrial Estate, close to Alliance.
