Speakers: Fiona Bateson & Patrick Earle. Subject: The Arts in Guernsey.


Fiona Bateson is a Board Member of the Community Foundation and Chair of the grants panel. Fiona was instrumental in the creation of the Guernsey Nature Commission and has been Chair of the Bio-Diversity Partnership Group. Her background and qualifications are in Management Consultancy, Strategy, Leadership and psychotherapy. Fiona is also a jazz enthusiast.

Patrick Earle retired from the finance industry 20 years ago and went to art school to train as a portrait painter.  He has exhibited in the UK, Guernsey, Spain and the US as an abstract colourist. Patrick was on the Board of Guernsey Arts and Vice Chair, he is on the Committee for Guernsey Arts Network, and they are supporters of Art for Guernsey. They continue to be involved in early stage technology related businesses.
