Lunch Meeting

Wed, Sep 10th 2025 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Speaker: Charlie Cox, CEO, At Home Guernsey.
Subject: Introducing At Home in Guernsey, a new charity supporting those in Guernsey who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, and sharing some of their early initiatives.

At Home in Guernsey launched in February 2024 following the publication of the Guernsey Community Foundation's Homelessness Report.

Our vision is to end homelessness in all its forms in Guernsey.  We will do this by both providing support to those of us in our community impacted by homelessness as well as working with Government to co-produce a Homelessness Delivery and Implementation Plan.

We have two exciting projects on the horizon.

Firstly, the launch of our Home Share Service which will provide a safe way of connecting individuals to live harmoniously together, ultimately benefitting both parties.

Secondly, is a significant property refurbishment to increase the number of bedrooms available to those who are on the Band 1 waiting list for social housing.

Charlie herself is a highly motivated individual with a passion for delivering excellence.

Experience in strategy development, people, leadership, impact and all aspects of operational delivery having led the establishment of several organisations/services in Guernsey as well as the Youth Commission.
