Lunch Meeting

Wed, Aug 20th 2025 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Speaker: Nick Paluch. Subject: The overseas development work being done by local charity Guernsey Aid.

Talk Report

Guernsey Aid is a local overseas aid and development charity founded 5 years ago, ‘working to help those most in need’.

Since inception Guernsey Aid has raised more than £160,000 from Guernsey residents and institutions, and has funded 17 different projects addressing basic needs such as health, education, water, sanitation and hygiene in 9 of the least developed nations of the world to the benefit of many thousands of disadvantaged people.

I was very impressed by this great little charity - local people helping those in need and all of them volunteers.
