Chief Minister Lindsay de Sausmarez: Championing Guernsey’s Future
Deputy Lindsay de Sausmarez has served as Guernsey’s People’s Deputy since 2016, leveraging her professional skills in strategic thinking, research and communication to deliver long-term value for our community.
As President of the Committee for the Environment & Infrastructure and Vice-President of the Committee for Employment & Social Security, she has driven landmark policies such as the Guernsey Housing Plan and sustainable energy strategy, while championing initiatives to improve housing affordability, environmental resilience and social wellbeing.
In her talk to the Rotary Club of Guernsey, Lindsay as the first woman elected as Chief Minister, officially serving as President of the Policy & Resources Committee will share insights on collaborative governance, balancing economic growth with environmental stewardship, and pathways for civic engagement on our island’s most pressing challenges.
