The Rotary Club of Guernsey donated £150 which provided 300 special Christmas meals to children being supported by African Adventures.
The following note has been received from African Adventures:
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Sending you a heartfelt and resounding thank you from us and the entire team at African Adventures. Your incredible generosity and support for our Christmas Meal Appeal this year have been truly transformative. Thanks to your donations, we’ve been able to spread the joy and magic of the season to children at our partner schools in Ghana and Kenya.
Through our year-round food security programme, we ensure that children in our Kenyan partner schools receive two basic meals every day. This Christmas, your support allowed us to go far beyond that. You made it possible for 1000's of children to enjoy a special meal of meat, potatoes, vegetables, chapatti, and more, along with refreshing drinks.
The smiles, laughter, and excitement you’ve brought to these young faces are immeasurable. Your kindness has not only brightened their holiday but has also eased the worries of parents who struggle daily to provide for their families.
So, as you enjoy your own Christmas celebrations, please know that you’ve played a vital role in making this season memorable and meaningful for so many others.
Thank you for believing in the work we do and for being a part of this journey with us. We look forward to collaborating more in 2025 and beyond. Wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Many thanks for your support.
Kind regards,
Rachel
