A visit to the Channel Islands Air Search hangar

Thu, Sep 19th 2024 at 6:15 pm - 11:00 pm

Followed by a meal at Le Gouffre at 8.00 p.m.

We have arranged a visit to the Channel Islands Air Search (CIAS) hangar for Thursday 19th September at 18:15.

Numbers are limited, so it is a first come first served basis, but the good news is Le Gouffre has agreed to open on that Thursday night for us, so other members & partners who do not want to attend the hangar tour, could join us after the visit for a meal at Le Gouffre for 20:00.

I am suggesting a £5 charge/donation to CIAS for those attending the hangar visit, then the meal at Le Gouffre is £27.50 for two courses or £35.50 for 3 courses (please click HERE for the Menu). So either £32.50 hangar visit & two courses or £40.50 for hangar visit & 3 courses or the prices above for the meal only. (Add £5.50 for steak option with tip)

Those attending the air search visit will need to bring photo ID (either driving license or passport) in order to enter the hangar. There is parking at the general aviation entrance to the apron near the air traffic control tower. Suggest we meet at 18:15 to be ready for a 18:30 start.

Please let me know if you want to attend the hangar visit & meal or meal only with menu choices.
