Lunch Meeting

Wed, Sep 4th 2024 at 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Speaker: Aaron Davies.
Topic: Introduction to Action for Children.

Action for Children’s service in Guernsey focuses on giving young people aged between 13 and 25 years old in the Bailiwick the foundations they need to thrive.

They achieve this by delivering programmes across the community, responding to youth homelessness or by targeting areas that may increase a young person’s chance of becoming homeless in the future.

They work with young people across a variety of settings, from the classroom to small group work, one-to-one in the community and provide specific projects for the following needs: Substance Use

  • Homelessness
  • Living Skills
  • Leaving Care
  • Employment support
