At our regular meetings we toast the members of a Rotary club in another part of the world.
The toast reminds us of the international nature of Rotary and that clubs like ours are active and doing good on every continent.
We first started to toast the members of other Rotary clubs in October 2020, but having toasted all the Clubs for whom we hold banners in early November 2023, we are now starting again.

I know one of our members Mike Smith visits you when he is visiting your sunny island, he always reports back what you are up to. Hi Simon, Thank you for your communication, I read your information to the Luddites at our meeting last evening. We get some feedback about Rotary in the Channel Isle, I was DG for District 1040 in 2018/19 and meet up with Allan Smith from Jersey who was your DG, but more closer to you one of our members left the Luddites and came to Guernsey to work for a few years and now has returned back to us, he is David Mullins who I think was a member of your sister club, and he still visits the isle regularly and in doing so brings us Rotary news.
