With the focus of the current Rotary year locally on consolidation of
services and tradition, the Club Service meetings give Service
committees the opportunity to explain how they operate and the
logistics behind the many projects and events undertaken each year or
proposed for future years.
As the club approaches the club centenary, it is important
that the Rotary brand is well represented in the local community and
aspirations and achievements of Rotary well understood.
The best ambassadors to achieve these objectives are our members.
Hopefully all members, both new & old, will get something from these
presentations and discussions, so that the club can move forward with
greater confidence and the support of members, knowing where our
efforts are targeted and their skills can best be deployed to deliver
service to the club and the Rotary ethos.
Members are encouraged to question and challenge the services presented, so that we can ensure a robust and focussed target for our efforts which we are all happy to share with our community.
