We have been fortunate to secure Dr Nicola Brink as our speaker for our first evening meeting on Wednesday 29th July, 18:30 for 19:00 at the Hotel de Havelet.
I am sure that Dr Brink will be a popular speaker and with partners invited as well, we will be tight for space.
In fact the hotel has advised that even setting a table in the annex we will be limited to 60 places.
We plan to have the screen at the end of the room where the top table is normal set and squeeze an extra row in the middle of the room, so it will be snug, but worth the compromise to get as many into the event as possible.
To join us for that evening, please let Margrit Bishop know by email, places will be reserved on a first comes basis, so don’t delay, but do remember to let Margrit know if your partner will be joining you. On this occasion with the expected demand we must limit places to club members & partners only. I hope you will understand.
Great news, thanks to David Mortimer for the introduction, I am sure the talk will be topical and an interest to all.
