Never let it be said that Rotarians aren’t adaptable. Within 16 hours of their
Christmas games party Guernsey's Rotarian’s had swapped their Tinsel and Santa
outfits for jackets and ties to attend the annual joint Carol Service of both
Rotary Clubs and the Friends of Rotary.
The service of readings and carols was held at St Andrews Church on Sunday afternoon following which those attending stayed on to feast on the customary minced pies. The congregation were accompanied during carols by the band of Guernsey’s Salvation Army who also entertained with a rousing medley of Christmas tunes arranged for brass.
