The 2017 Youth Speaks competition took place on 24th January at St James Concert Hall.

The overall standard was extremely high with some excellent presentations delivered so confidently by the students. The adjudicators had a difficult task in selecting the trophy winners however after a long deliberation the following were chosen:
The winners of the Intermediate Teams were Elizabeth College with their
presentation "Medicating Doctor Doom".
The Senior team winners were Grammar School with the presentation on "How to
solve a problem like Mary"
The overall winners who will participate in the District Final on 11th March were Grammar School.
