Youth Speaks 2017 - The Competition (24 January 2017)

The 2017 Youth Speaks competition took place on 24th January at St James Concert Hall.

Three Intermediate Teams participated from:

• Grammar School
• La Mare de Carteret High School
• Elizabeth College

The Senior teams who participated were:

• Elizabeth College
• Grammar School

The overall standard was extremely high with some excellent presentations delivered so confidently by the students. The adjudicators had a difficult task in selecting the trophy winners however after a long deliberation the following were chosen:  

The winners of the Intermediate Teams were Elizabeth College with their presentation "Medicating Doctor Doom".

The Senior team winners were Grammar School with the presentation on "How to solve a problem like Mary"

The overall winners who will participate in the District Final on 11th March were Grammar School.
