Inner Wheel raises funds for Safer (June 2026)
£4,000 raised.
President Rosemary chose Safer as her charity for her year in office. Safer works closely with Guernsey Police and other local agencies to deliver education and training in our community to help eradicate domestic abuse and empower individuals to break free from abuse.
During the year Inner Wheel supported Safer by donating essential household items including toiletries and cleaning items. We also raised funds at various events including a Jigsaw Race and Easter Bonnet Afternoon Tea enabling us to present a cheque for £4,000 to Jo Wyatt from Safer.
