A new Rotary year begins each 1st July.
Our new Club President Jane Rowe has taken over the reins from Immediate Past President Carla Bauer.
Our thanks to Carla for her leadership and service over the past year, and our very best wishes to Jane as she begins her year as President of the Rotary Club of Guernsey.
What an exciting start to the new Rotary Year with President Jane welcoming two new members:
Keith Harrison
Keith was introduced to the club by Steve Hogg haveing met at 41 Club. Keith recently moved to the island and is involved in the insurance business.
Gower - our first ever corporate member represented by new Rotarian Paul McCormick, introduced by Chris Roberts.
Chris introduced Rotary to the B48 Group earlier this year giving a presention on our Club and its activities to their members. Paul expressed a keen interest in joining as a Corporate Member representing Gower Financial Services. Rotary's ethos of "Service Above Self" resonates well with Gower's strategy of "serving the community".
Paul will be supported by his colleague Rob Boyd and they are looking forward to their staff getting involved with our activities and initiatives.
We are looking forward to another busy year ahead working in and with our community here in Guernsey and further afield and the friendship and fun we have as together we continue to make a positive difference.
