Evening Meeting – Wednesday 29 July
Speaker: Paul — SmileStar dental charity
Our speaker will be Paul Frank, a dentist who has lived and worked in Guernsey since 1995.
Paul will talk about his work with SmileStar, a UK-based dental charity providing free basic dental treatment in countries where access to dental care is extremely limited. Since first learning about SmileStar during a safari holiday to Kenya in 2017, Paul has taken part in seven trips with the charity, visiting Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and the Republic of the Congo.
He is now Chairman of the SmileStar Board of Governors and a Team Leader for overseas trips.
His talk will also draw on his long-standing interest in photography, with images of the landscapes, people and wildlife he has encountered during his travels.
Visitors, guests and anyone interested in finding out more about Rotary are very welcome.
