Rotarian Deborah Wesonga of the Rotary Club of Jinja and former head of Kisiki Collage in Namutumba, a town that Ross-on-Wye is twinned with in Uganda, has been in contact as her 29 year old daughter Emmeline has a potentially terminal brain aneurysm
Emmeline is in need of an urgent operation but Uganda does not have the facilities, therefore she has been transferred to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota USA for assessment
Cost of treatment is clearly a problem, Debora has raised 60% by asking friends and family, but is in need of a further £8000+

Ross Rotary have added a Charity Donation button to our website and social media presence, specifically for this cause. Please consider gift aiding any donation made where possible, as this will boost the amount raised from Ross-on-Wye residents and those further afield
The "Namutumba" : Emmeline appeal is now closed
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the appeal which raised 7745 USD
Emmeline's operation went well and she continues to recover
