Club Trip to Odal

Seven Club members went to visit our twin Club on Friday 13th June until Tuesday 17th June. Janet, Tina, Polly, Brian and Sylvia, Adrian and Linda They stayed with 3 hosts.

A great time was had by all. The first day seemed to centre around eating and the last day certainly ended on the same theme, In between we had a trip on the local lake, visited a distillery (and ate) and were entertained at another Rotaian's house (and ate). We had a very interesting visit to Oslo, where we saw the Parliament building and were allowed into the visitors' gallery to witness a debate- the speaker gives his speech in complete silence!! with no childish interuptions- we could certainly learn something there!!!!! Our departing party was rounded off with a feast of sea food the like of which I have not seen before. A memorable experience throughout the trip.
