Community activities
What we do in within the local community
We like to get hands on and help in our community.
Members support the monthly Litter Picks in Nailsea (see photo above).
We transport donations from Waitrose to the Nailsea Foodbank distribution hub each week.
We hold regular whist drives at the Tithe Barn to give elderly people an incentive to come out of the home and have some social interaction.
We provide support to several local organisations such as the Memory Cafe and the Leg Club.
We run various initiatives to support young people and local schools, more detail on these are given on the Supporting Young People page here
Our annual Charity Walks and Run event gives many organisations and charities the opportunity to raise money for their cause and our annual Golf Day raises funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
