Car Boot sale 4 June at Marlborough College Water Meadows

The weather stayed dry, if cold for the Jubilee Bank Holiday Boot car boot sale. The first booters were waiting at the gate at 06:00 eager to set up their plots and once the sale opened to the public at 08:00 a steady stream of buyers on foot and in cars arrived until closure at noon.

Rotary members and their wives served very welcome teas, coffees, and bacon or sausage rolls which helped to keep out the chill
