Rotary meets Marlborough Chamber of Commerce
On Wednesday 19th December, our President Howard Small and Rotarian Rex Sandbach joined the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce at their Business Breakfast meeting at the Castle and Ball Hotel on Marlboroughs famous High Street. The idea of the meeting is for local business and professional people to be able to meet informally to get to know each other and to exchange ideas and information.
We attended the meeting with the intention of increasing the profile of Rotary within the local business community. Many of the attendees were aware of Rotary but didnt know what we do or why we do it and it was a great opportunity to spread the word. Based on our experience at the breakfast, were likely to do it again as its a good venue to meet potential future members and to raise our profile in general.
